I’d hate for you to look at images like this one and arrive at the conclusion that maybe Call Centre work isn’t the most fulfilling of jobs. You should also know that if you could draw a steady wage from stabbing red hot needles through your eyes for 40 hours a week I’d probably have done that instead.

This is the image that became ‘Donde es Sancho la Grasa?’, but I never actually created it. I found the original drawn in permanent marker on the concrete entrance to the Burnley Borough Council Theft Department – Where they steal your Council Tax off you. It was tiny, about two inches high and I loved it immediately. I took a snap of it with my phone camera and then went home and copied an enlarged impression of it into the book. I made up the colour scheme and background. It’s a collaboration between me and a completely unknown artist that I never met.
